Hi! I’m Krisi

I work within a Trauma-informed framework and strive for my approach to be person-centred and strengths-based.

I primarily work with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing). I also draw from Parts work and Attachment-based approaches in my practice.

Creating a solid and authentic therapeutic bond with my clients is integral. I will ensure that you feel safe exploring your brain’s innate capacity to heal, and I look forward to witnessing the lasting changes we cultivate in our therapeutic journey together.

I am a passionate mental health practitioner with ten years of experience working with clients in acute and community settings. My specialty is supporting people through their most significant challenges and providing safe passage while navigating the public system.

Areas of Focus:

  • Postnatal Depression
  • Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  •  Complex Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD)
  • Anxiety
  • Depression

I am particularly committed to helping those who are struggling in the postnatal period – including fathers and partners – as this time can be both overwhelming and rewarding. As a mother myself, I have experienced the joys and struggles that come with parenting, which has deepened my commitment to serving those impacted by birth trauma, loss, pregnancy or parenthood. I am fiercely LGBTQIA+ friendly and genuinely enjoy working with people from all walks of life.

I approach each person with empathy and acceptance in every situation, regardless of their background or identity.
