Get to know Dan
Dan supports his clients to regain the energy, hope and self-compassion they need to create a fulfilling life.
Dan is a knowledgeable psychotherapist, practicing life coach and meditation teacher, with an academic background in psychology and experience working in the consumer mental health space. He holds expertise in mindfulness and wellbeing, and utilises a range of techniques including Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based stress reduction, and motivational interviewing.
Dan offers a humanistic, person centred approach. He facilitates a collaborative relationship with clients, for them to build a pathway towards greater meaning and fulfilment in their lives. He has experienced and worked through his own life challenges, and therefore relates to the importance of compassion, empathy and unconditional positive regard.
Dan specialises in working with busy, stressed out people, by helping them build a renewed sense of balance in their lives. Dan has recently undergone accredited training in EMDR Level 1. He utilises EMDR in his work to help clients process unresolved traumas, adverse experiences and to overcome barriers towards important outcomes.
Dan also specialises in working with clients who suspect they have, or have been diagnosed with ADHD. He provides ADHD therapy and coaching and has also co-developed ADHD Ambition, a structured program to help people with ADHD to master the habits and mindset to reach their life goals.
