Policies
Cancelling or Changing Appointments
When booking an appointment at Create Balance Psychotherapy and Counselling, time is set aside specifically for you and the team begins preparation for your scheduled session. Each appointment has a fee attached to it and upon booking, this becomes your responsibility.
We require at least 2 full business daysโ notice if you wish to change or cancel an appointment without incurring the full cost of the appointmentโs attached fee.
There are many reasons why we have this policy in place. Taking responsibility for appointments and their fees encourages our clients to remain committed to therapy and as a result, achieve better outcomes. It respects the time, preparation and resources that our team have invested in upcoming appointments and acknowledges the impact that cancellations and changes have on providing attentive, effective and efficient care to our broad community of clients.
Payments
Create Balance Psychotherapy and Counselling requires credit card details for all bookings, even if a third party organisation will be covering the entire fee. If your appointment is eligible for the external funding, we will organise invoicing and payment via the details you provide us with.
Your credit card details will be securely stored for any subsequent appointments. Create Balance will debit the sessionโs fees once the scheduled appointment time has commenced. An invoice will then be emailed to the client. Taking credit card details enables convenient and contact-free processing of payments.
Please note that for longer session bookings, we require payment of the relevant session fee at the time of booking and for at least two appointments in advance. We also require seven (7) daysโ notice for cancellations or changes; otherwise the full session fee is payable.
